Totally delicious, sweet, light. Everything you would expect from a Brut champagne. Compare with Moët. Will add this to my favorites! — 9 years ago

Idéal pour les viandes en été — 11 years ago
Interesting blend. The ‘17 still had a touch too much acidity in ‘23, but I can see it’ll knit nicely as it goes on. Individual wine from a personal vision, meant for the long run. — 3 years ago
Thanks to @Jean-Francois Pelletier for sharing this. It’s really lovely. — 8 years ago
One of my favorite dinners was on the menu here at Chez Skip - cassoulet! And my knowledge of wine pairing is as sophisticated as a toddler eating spaghetti, I said to myself - hey I am eating French food and I like this French wine, so hey why not? And that was that. But as wine can be, it evoked its memory of when I had it first. I remember sitting out in the patio and being impressed with it. I thought to myself I could really enjoy French wines, but as history has shown, that was clearly a short lived notion.
Knowing it had been some time, I had an odd feeling, so I checked my Delectable history. Indeed, this was the very first wine I had rated!
So, to my friends, do you remember your first wine on here? Was it anything memorable? @philip Angino @Martin A. Rich floral summer bouquet on a hot sunny day, tart mealy apples, pears, honeysuckle palate with a lightly prickly finish that has a touch of leathery earth. Really elegant and pretty wine ☀️ — 4 years ago

Have you ever tasted a wine that you would be fully prepared to enter into a mutually exclusive relationship with? This wine would be like the withholding partner who, when they showed up, literally charmed the pants off of you. I’d be willing to sister wife this wine with @Amy Pelletier Beck @Jamie Anderson @antonia dorans the best of the penis anus wines thus far! — 8 years ago
