Great taste, less filling. All the crispness of an excellent SB but with some boldness and more flavor than your average bear — 8 months ago
Still young, fresh, powerfull — a month ago
Transparent brick color. Aged flavor. Mid body. Complexity. Baron de Lajoyasa Gran Reserva 10 @6490, Pieroth, 241011,88
Earthy, concentrated. Oak, vanilla. Traditional. Black fruits including black cherry, black berry. Spicy. Powerful. Earthy +. 2nd day much better. @6490, Pieroth, 241011-241102,89 — 2 months ago
Très bon ! — 7 months ago
Big, fruity, herbal, nicely balanced RR PN. Bay leaves and cherries on the palate — 2 months ago
Tannins have really softened up. Fruit is very ripe - blackberry, red cherry. Raisin, fig, plum. Seems to me to be meeting its end of drinking window. Still quite delicious. — 4 months ago
Just received the 2021s and thought I’d open a bottle. Decanted 15 minutes. Big red fruit - cherry, plum. Lighter bodied for a cab. Fruit is overpowering and just on the edge of too ripe. Tannins are soft with a slightly grippy feel. Good value. Someone rated this 97 which seems a bit high to me. — 7 months ago

Label says grapes are from Petaluma Gap, which I guess includes part of Marin County as well as Sonoma? Light in color, but lovely red floral aromas and dried red cherry and cranberry fruit flavors, very nice balance, drinking beautifully tonight, lingering finish, very well-done!! — a month ago
