One of my first mondrieuse. Good dark fruit, earth and grippy tannins — 5 years ago
Reductive and needs air. — 4 years ago
Vino bianco tannico, come piace a me, più grezzo ma okay! Dopo un po’ nel bicchiere diventa più pulito e mieloso. Vino bianco top !! — 5 years ago
Still beautiful… — 8 months ago
Dark purple in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black plums, black currants, coffee, light oak, spices, chocolates and licorice.
Short finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 5 year old Merlot from Saint Emilion is starting to drink nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Rich and extracted. Fruit forward and robust.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
14% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Really liked this one. Red fruit, tannic and a little jammy — 4 years ago

The nose opens with waves of ripe black cherry, cassis, plum liqueur, and dark chocolate Beneath the opulence lies impressive complexity with hints of espresso, violets, and peppery spice emerge gradually with air. The palate is dense and supple, showing warmth and generosity. Plenty of nuance beneath the lavish fruit.
Possibly the best value for a St-Emilion GCC. Will need to seek out more. — a day ago
