Napa Bordeaux blend - Black currant, violets, cherry, cedar and spice - plenty of fruit - likely peaking - opened up with some air — 9 months ago
Surprised how well this wine is drinking now. A short decant is required but it’s drinking quite well but as the tannins integrate will surely improve with time. Still, nice ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, licorice, earthiness. Drinking very well and smooth. Nice medium finish. Excellent value! — 3 years ago

Chateauneuf-du-Pape is one of favorite French wines and this iteration is certainly an excellent example. Full bodied, well balanced, smooth and so good with foods. Meats, cheeses, crusty breads, or just by itself. Plenty of fruit, very little tannins and the perfect amount of time in the bottle since this variety doesn’t really lend itself to aging. Really doesn’t need much decanting. — 8 months ago
Same as the other. Delicious, when it’s on sale 1/2 off at Winn Dixie. — 4 years ago
Tremendous. Earthy, funky, wild mushroom, forest floor. Also nose of overripe blue fruit and vanilla due to oaking. — 5 years ago

Palate: green apple. Lovely sweet fruit. Mineral. Great acidic balance. Blind I’d say 1er cru chablis.
