Nose: blackberry liquor. So sweet and beautiful. Penetrating. So dense.

Palate: sweet blackberry. Silky texture. So good.

At $12 I’m throughly impressed with this. Sandalwood nose eases into a velvety mid palate of cherries, and a wisp of cinnamon. Acidity is in the background and overall finishes moderately sweet. If you see it, try it. — 3 years ago

Vintage 2016 | This wine developed itself fine with a few years cellar. Expressive cassis, decanted three hours, afterwards very good drinking with a good structure. Pierre Ardoin - a oenologist at the Bordeaux university - makes this wine with a wink to its more reputed colleague vintners on the other side of the Gironde river. | paired with bbq, incredible good p/q. — 3 years ago
