Very serious for a CdR. Lots of dark cherry/strawberry fruit with cocoa/espresso on the finish. Robust and firm structure. — 4 years ago
There are times when the only thing that will do the trick is an old-school Chenin. And boy was this on target. Positively crackling with acidity, citrus pith and pear, quince and crushed quartz all vibrating with energy in the mouth. You’d never guess this was a 9 year-old wine. Fresh as a daisy and utterly compelling. — 4 years ago
Silky, medium body, citrus and honey, paired well with fish tacos. — a year ago
Teally beautiful wine, very easy and snooth to drink. Would have again — 2 years ago
Mineral nose to start. Pink quartz. A little charcoal dust too, then cedar and violets. Nose has some green pepper but body is so red fruited, sweet-tart, transparent, sappy, herbal and delicious. Fairly advanced; not much tannin. Has maybe 5 years but I’d drink this now. — 4 years ago
Amazing pair w/ my Braised Short Ribs. Savory meets savory fruits.

The one mineral you see in this vineyard with some prevalence that I’ve not seen in others is quartz. — a year ago
