Clear, medium to deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of black plums, blackberries, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary flavors of blueberries, black cherries, and tar with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense, but the alcohol is a little high. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it, too. — 8 days ago

Light ruby with a narrower brighter rim , just hinting at garnet . More floral and lighter red fruit , with strawberry , raspberry and light red cherry , hints of red rose and cedar , slightly stony edge also, will need time to open up . On the palate this has quite a lot more acidity and gritty tannins, red cherry , raspberry , orange rind and a real freshness and elegance . Balanced alcohol and good cherry tinged length . Very balanced and elegant , also pretty young , needs a few more years to open . Probably better in a 5 years or so and will last well a further 5-10 . The most ethereal and poised of the Brunellis in this tasting . — 5 months ago
