Fruit, earth, good structure, perhaps a slight hint of Brett but in a good way — 5 months ago
Consistently good Cabernet Savignon w/ a little Merlot, also Napa.
When your fruit is sourced from Oak Knoll district, Rutherford, Mount Veeder, Diamond Mountain District, Stags Leap District, and Howell Mountain, the result should be excellent and flavorful. It is. — 10 months ago
Pretty good classic cali pinot paired with chili on a rainy day screw top not cork inviting good with broths, soups, smokey poultry & steak — 10 days ago
Great rosé with a light blush color fruity upfront with a very slight bitterness toward the end the bitterness is not bad though and reminiscent a bitter melon. To me it’s a bit heavy for a rosé but pairs very well with food especially cheeses and spicy food. — 3 years ago
A stunner. The way Zinfandel should be made. — 6 days ago

It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday. Let's bring Merlot back!
Deep ruby in color with a brick rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.
Showing plums, currants, light cedar, earth, herbs, light vanilla, licorice, light vegetables, coffee and black pepper.
This 20 year old Merlot from Napa Valley is still drinking nicely, but past its peak. Elegant and interesting.
This is a nice surprise, as I didn't see it drinking so nicely at this age.
Needs an hour to open up in the bottle.
Good by itself, and better with food at this point. I paired it with light appetizers.
14.4% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
