Love the smoky notes without it being overwhelming. Great contrast to the cherry-fruity notes from the nerello. — a year ago
No longer a “Vin de Bourgogne”, now a “Produit de France” this is still a great example of a French Chardonnay. Slightly more mineral than a typical Burgundy, light bodied with peach and melon followed by a crisp, clean, and quick finish that then returns with some grass and citrus. — 4 years ago
The favorite wine from my tasting with Matt and Paul. Stunning. layered, complex and evolved through the night. Unfortunately, the only bottle I had. Labet is getting nearly impossible to source. Excellent pair with crab mac and cheese. — 9 months ago
Love this red. Velvety smooth, tannic, subtle licorice. Excellent. — 3 years ago
Probably not a bottle en form — 8 months ago
Really good. Savory. Andrew says dark stone fruit, soft and smooth, gentle approach. Would drink much more. — 9 months ago
Full bodied, apples and brioche on the nose and mouth. Good not great — 2 years ago
Dark ripe berries but not overly fruity. Balanced with notes of white pepper and anise. Subtle minerality. Supple texture. Could age nicely. Takes a chill well. — 5 years ago

50/50 Pinot Noir / Chardonnay blend disgorged Oct 2022. This a champagne where the grapes of the blend each had the opportunity to strut their stuff. Scents of almonds , croissant, baked apple and lemons put a smile on my face. On the palate berries show up to fight the citrus. Young , with the acid levels I like. If I had to bet, this is a champagne that will benefit from age and gain in complexity. — 19 days ago
