This wine was seriously tertiary. It was mistaken for a Madeira or sherry or port for its dessert like flavors and sweetness though it had no sugar

A Roberto Recioto della Valpolicella Classico Corvina Blend 2007

Ruby with a hint of garnet. Aromas of strawberry, cherry, fig/raisin. Not overly sweet, but just right. Stewed cherries, leather, raisins with a nice finish. Great with our cheese board. — 3 months ago
