I’m torn. I don’t usually care for super sweet sakes, and this one is definitely that, but I had a ton of fun drinking this. This thing is HUGE. Almost overwhelming notes of cantaloupe, honeydew, banana, kiwi and pineapple are all up in your face when this hits your lips. It’s got plenty of alcohol to cut through the rich sweetness but almost no acidity. It’s lush and boozy and a hell of a good time, even if I wouldn’t call it a great sake overall. — 4 months ago

Very pretty and on the delicate side. Packaging nails the tasting notes with cucumber, green tea, and melon rind, though I also get the banana that many tasters mention. From a small brewery, and a prefecture known for its pristine water sources. Pair with Kumamoto oysters or scallop sashimi. Environmentally sustainable, energy efficient brewery. Alcohol stands out to me at 15.5%. — a month ago
Funky, savory, sweet, harmonious. A very madeira like sake but a creature unto its own. — 3 months ago
