Cherry, raspberry, currant, cranberry, rhubarb, vanilla and oak. Light-bodied and aoft tannins. — 5 years ago
Poured into a decanter about three hours prior to dinner. The 2012 pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears and no obvious signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with heavy notes of Morello cherry, exotic spices, bergamot, black tea, red flowers, cola nut and stony earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. This is a remarkable 2012 Riserva that hides its 15% alcohol about as good as any I have encountered. Full of character and full of life. My last bottle, but I hope to encounter this beauty again at some point in the future. Drink now through 2032. — 2 months ago

Natural Zinfandel recommended when I asked for something not as tart. Slightly mushroomy / peppery finish, very enjoyable. Purchased from Gemini Bottle Co — 5 years ago

From Gemini. Carol. Natural wine. Light. NOT sweet like most Riesling’s. — 2 years ago
Just like it’s name, a solid and sensible natural red that’s not too tart while berry fresh and drinkable. $24 from Gemini Bottle Shop. — 5 years ago

Incredible wine from the slopes of Mnt Edna where they discovered an old abandoned vineyard from pre-phylloxera times planted back in the late eighteen hundreds. Mostly from the Nerrello Mascalese grape. The wines is super focussed and bright, zooming into elegant layers of vibrant red and dark fruits all supported by subtle fine grained tannins and mineral undernotes. Classic old world style wine with endless depth and nuanced complexity. Just a complete, perfect wine …. For me 😁 — 23 days ago
