Kimoto Tokubetsu Junmai Yamadanishiki

This one starts off a bit rough to me compared to the Muni which is much more refined imho but it worked with the second half of the dinner where the flavors were stronger and could hold up to it. — 22 days ago

Oh man. What a depth of flavor.

A study in pear. Dry and light.

Floral cherry blossoms as well.

Wakatake Onikoroshi (Demon Slayer) Junmai Ginjo Sake

This is a nice sake. This is a “mag” but I think the aromatics are diminished due to the age of the bottle or the chill I have in it. I’m just not getting much. To me the flavors are great and I’m not surprised it’s got an SMV if +\- 0 it’s like drinking water. Little alcohol on the backend. — 5 months ago

Label said it went with spicy food and I agree. Loving it with Thai.

Dassai 45 Junmai Daiginjo Sake

Dassai 45. Had it after the Dassai Beyond. Still delicious but not at the same level. The Beyond is clear and translucent. The 45 has a yellow tint which I never noticed but is visible when comparing. Magnum. — 6 months ago
