Great dry sparkly wine — 7 years ago
Lemon rind, vanilla, raw almond, pear, even some grapefruit. Honey in the nose. Really effervescent and light and fun, but still complex. A brunch orange wine, like a mimosa without the bullshit. — 8 years ago
Toasty green apple and citrus notes with great acidity. Dry and 11.5% from the Spergolino grape of Emilia Romagna. — 11 years ago

Deep rich berry lushiousness! — 9 years ago
Skin fermented Muscat, Spergola and Malvasia. Bright & breezy. Perfect for a cool evening. Very aromatic - ginger, citrus peel. Herbal on the front, and quince on the finish that just won't quit. Delicious, and such a value! — 11 years ago
Fresh, crisp, grapefruit with some pear. Bright with citrus and abundant bubbles. Great with food. — 6 months ago

Sparkly without being too effervescent, light, tangy and dangerously drinkable. — 5 years ago

Passionfruity deliciousness but not too sweet — 6 years ago
This frizzante of Malvasia, Spergola & Moscato smells like these specific roses from my mother's garden growing up, the ones with a golden center that unfurled into a vibrant coral that spilled over the petals, with a dash of nutmeg. Much like the song, this wine has echos of Stevie Wonder, all bright & humbly bubbling with a bit of weight to it, and has notes of tangerine, gardenias & a well-worn, wool shirt with a hint of musk on it. It's so much fun, but also makes me want to nuzzle into its shoulder & give it big doe eyes. — 8 years ago

Single parcel Spergola from an organic Lambrusco producer. These wines were solid across the board. Perfect charcuterie accompaniments. — 2 months ago
