Juicy plum, blueberry pie, black cherry, blackberry, cassis, and violet. Notes of carbonic maceration or at least some whole cluster. Neutral oak. Elevated acidity, medium soft tannins, and moderate body. Medium(+) finish. Simple but delicious. — 7 years ago

Chablis-like restraint in a very good way. Nose is tense, citrus and lots of limestone, an almost reductive floral nose and a touch of silky softness to balance. They said Foradori-level good. And they were right. A teeny amount of petillance, but it’s super clean and correct. Savory and plummy; a bit low in acidity. Why isn’t everyone on LI planting Teroldego? Fantastic stuff. — 6 years ago

Similar to my last note, strange and somewhat disappointing.

1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Dark fruit, almost stewed in nature on the nose. Wine starts out spicy, settles down, and loses its strength. Not sure what to make of this. — 2 years ago
