Random pick, went very well with vegetable marinara cannelloni. Violet and herb nose. Definitely a food wine. Light lingering finish. — 6 months ago
2019 Took some time to open but good nose and ruby colour excellent structure in mouth with good balance of berry flavours acidity and tannins
Had at a new Italian restaurant called Civico 47 which used to be Lucio’s for 35 odd years, old Lucio would be happy it’s still a high quality Italian restaurant.Just announced as WS wine no. 24 in 2024 top 100 — 3 months ago
Blend of equal amounts of local red grapes; Caino, Espadeiro and Loueiro, Ruby red color with aromas of red fruits, herb, floral and cigar box notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with tobacco, oak and garden herbs. Medium+ finish, chalky tannins, savory, ending with herbs, spice, cedar and slight fruit, savory. Nice, will continue to age. — 4 months ago
Yellow color, peaches, Mellon and citrus tastes. Probably another year or two. — 6 months ago

The Sangiovese was out so we landed on this one. No regrets. Smells a bit astringent but with lots of vanilla and strawberry. Very fruity, medium bodied. A solid wine, especially for $18 at a restaurant. — 8 days ago
