Speak easy, drink easy! What a great BBQ wine — a year ago
Floral juicy deliciousness — 2 years ago
Wine Society - a pleasant Italian wine - mild fruity tones that linger well after the wine has left the mouth. Definitely will order again - would be idle for BBQs and summer evenings. — 3 years ago
Why can’t all California “red blends” be like this? Full bodied and jammy but highly drinkable, even on its own. Lots going on here: black fruit, leather, vanilla, cloves. The finish is a little short but that’s my only complaint. Outstanding value. — 2 months ago
Pinot is always good! — a year ago
Buena Vista Sonoma County Pinot Noir 2014: Medium-bodied. Moderate tannins & acidity. Strawberry. Cherry. Blackberry. Plum. Oak. Soft finish. Overall, nice structure however sweeter & thinner flavors than I expected yet it was easy drinking and paired nicely with this rare slab of prime rib 😋. Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago
This was good. Not as nice as the one V got though — 3 months ago

This is a lot of wine for the money, that money being £10.50 / 37cl from The Wine Society and the wine being the 2019 Cheateau Carteau Côtes Daugay, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru from the Bertrand family. There’s fresh fruit, which has a distinct bright cherry character, dark chocolate, cranberry and fig, all presented on a plush, harmonious palate with nice acidity and mild tannins. There’s a touch of heat on the finish, but it’s easy to forgive such is this wine’s drinkability.
As I say, available in halves, bottles and magnums from The Wine Society, this is a useful wine to have in the cellar! — a year ago

Syrah, petit sirah, merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, dark fruit and pepper, earth. On the palate, pepper, olive, char, and a kind of effervescence. Strong tannins. — 2 days ago
