The 2014 is robust but smooth. It has fight like Donald Trump even when the outlook isn’t bright. Definitely recommend. — 5 years ago
2018 vintage. Léoville-Poyferré-involved concern. 73% Malbec 18% Cabernet Sauvignon 5% Petit Verdot 3% Syrah 1% Cab Franc. 100% delicious. Medium/medium-heavy body. Nice balance of grip/zip and sleeko suave. Can hold its own in a street fight now or be the scheduled, 12-round, main event in 2040-your choice. $28.85 resto cost on 3 cases. 14.5% ABV. Definite big red blend value contender. 04.13.25. — 7 months ago
One of these good news bad news wines. Good news? This was an awesome wine!!! Strong coarse but extremely well integrated tannins in a vibrant Syrah with cool dark red flavors upfront evolving in complex flavors of dark dry fig with earthy, forest floor, cigar box under notes. Bad news? I had to fight with Tammy over the last drop 😅. This is going to be a winery to keep an eye on in Walla Walla. Giving the big guys a run for the money. Loved it. — 4 years ago

Inky, a bit of acid. Pepper and a bit dry - pucker after a taste. I'm a big fan of Chateauneuf, but I've had better. I can't see drinking this on its own. And it will fight with any dish. You'd need something bold - spice and fat to serve it with. — 5 years ago

Good ass wine. I can always rely on this wine to both encourage me into and back me up in a fight. — 6 years ago
