A blend of all estate vineyards.
Most malo of all tasted.
Vanilla, lemon meringue, clove and a wee allspice on the closing notes.
Represents a very well crafted, expertly crafted wine but it has a bit of a generic character of 'Cool climate California Chardonnay'.
The ticket price of $95 retail is an expensive admission for this show. — a year ago
Crisp, floral and fruity - immediately noticed the acidity and had a short finish. Very easy to drink. — 14 days ago
if all entry level burgs had this level of finesse, the world would be a better place. seamless oak integration—you really only feel it texturally and with a whisper of baking spices on the finish. the palate is all slightly desiccated but still vibrant red fruit. exciting, elegant and made my friends smile. — 7 months ago
Very muted in the nose… hardly anything at first, fresh saltiness, barely a hint of green apple & lemon peel. And yet, fresh & enticing.
And then, on the palate this sings! Simply beautiful! With a touch of roundness & creaminess on the palate but also vibrant acidity, salinity, stony minerality. Ripe yellow apple & lemon. Vibrant, juicy and quite complex. Great depth & length.
