2016 is low aroma vintage, but the color is exceptionally vibrant and the structure highly ordered and organized. Bit static but not dull because of its authentic character and strength. — 6 years ago
Not too Puckery like other nebbiolos. Good balance. Great wine — 6 years ago
Medium ruby in color; cherries, raspberries, and dried herbs on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like sour cherries, cranberries, and minerals with a long finish. — a year ago

Mazzoni's 2015 Ghemme Ai Livelli is gorgeous. Floral and savory notes infuse the bouquet with notable presence. Light on its feet, yet wonderfully layered, the 2015 is super expressive right out of the gate. There's quite a bit of complexity, while the tannins are nicely mellowed by time. That makes for an incredibly appealing wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2022)
