Mazzoni's 2015 Ghemme Ai Livelli is gorgeous. Floral and savory notes infuse the bouquet with notable presence. Light on its feet, yet wonderfully layered, the 2015 is super expressive right out of the gate. There's quite a bit of complexity, while the tannins are nicely mellowed by time. That makes for an incredibly appealing wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2022)

The historic low ratings are interesting. Would be a great wine to try a vertical tasting because currently they are using some French (I'm fairly sure sure it's French) oak that really gives it some pleasant aromas and a fine granular structure.
Certainly not a Classico - this is the new face/taste of Sangiovese from Chianti.

Fairly thin, tart and mildly dry. Good acidity. Good for sipping or with strong flavors β 6 years ago
Nice, drier Chianti β 2 years ago
2016 is low aroma vintage, but the color is exceptionally vibrant and the structure highly ordered and organized. Bit static but not dull because of its authentic character and strength. β 6 years ago
Not too Puckery like other nebbiolos. Good balance. Great wine β 7 years ago

Ridge Zinfandel blends always age well. This was no different. Tasted this blind and no one called Zinfandel. Thatβs how different they become with this kind of age. That Zinfandel jamminess fades and complexity rises.
