2020 vintage. Seems a bit dialed-down bodywise from past Kosta Browne offerings (including this vineyard) but no less delicious. Great concentration throughout without. Catching it a bit on the youthful side...2 years would do it justice but 3-5 years would seemingly find it at the top of the bell curve. Buy (at least) two and hide (at least) one because once you taste it, twill be tough to forget. — 2 years ago

Gold apple, lemon custard, candied ginger and tropical fruit. Hints of marzipan and twill cookie wrapped up in a creme brulee-like texture — 6 years ago
This was actually a lovely surprise. I thought I was going to get a fruit bomb, but instead received a wine which shows a great amount of restraint and thought. Luscious, ripe berries perfume from the glass, carried on heavier notes of white peppercorn and cedar. The medium-light wine opens with ripe blueberries, cranberries, and black currant upon entry, sailing onto smooth dark chocolate and fresh figs on the midpalate. Finishes on tones of fresh forest mushrooms and forest floor. This could put on some weight with some cellaring, but a lovely and thoughtful Syrah in the meantime. — 8 years ago

Really great Syrah. I did not get any smoke note. Just good dark fruit, herbs, pepper, and more fruit. Balanced acidity. Drinking just great. I have had many willamette valley syrahs! This one is fantastic. — 6 months ago
