Reptilian eye-amber. Cotton-white feather headdress. Sticky lacing with evocative, spider trap density. Heavy perfume of ripe peach and peach blossom on the tree. Pink roses. Sherry sweetness, and barrel spices. Funkiness leads the way with over and underripe apricot turning peachy in nature, but bringing a brined pickled peach and white pepper phantom into play. Cardamom pods. Finishes with green note, nearing onion. Persistent sourness throughout, Not for the faint of heart. .

Inviting nose, sweet round single-malt flavors, interesting finish. Just a very pleasurable tipple. The only reason this is not a perfect whiskey is the very faintest note of varnish in the nose and finish. Reminded me a bit of Kavalan Sherry Cask in that respect. I had this in Japan with my lovely wife Dreama, at The Long Bar in Sapporo, Hokkaido. — 8 years ago

Nothing especially fancy here but it was a smooth cold beer, so I'm not mad at it. If you've had a Sapporo draft you've essentially had this. Thai massage costs extra. — 9 years ago

@Bill Bender Bill I know that SD and CA have some of the best beers on the planet. Ballast Point Sculpin and Stone's IPA among others. Here's a few of my BC favorites: Nasty Habit- Mt. Begbie Co, Thunderpunch and Amnesiac-Phillips, Shipwreck IPA- Lighthouse Brewing and my all time favorite Fat Tug- Driftwood Brewery. Cheers 🍻
