Nicely made and exuding character. Nose has bright, deep plummy fruit, along with nice, fragrant spice and a wisp of smoke. Mouthfilling, pure fruit on the palate, with a light touch, finish turns savory and shows lots of stony minerality. Nice acids and a bit of soft, chalky tannin comes out at the end. Superb. Equal born of Bobal and Tempranillo. Deep red, a bit smoky and earthy. Although aged in American Oak that had long since softened so it is a complex wine. Also great value. — 3 years ago
