Amazing old vine I️ found for $21 discounted for some reason - 2005 so plum, clean, tannins crisp, not too heavy like not sloppy fat but def a solid mouthfeel, like a v8 engine sound. — 7 years ago
Ruby color with gorgeous aromas of cherry, cola, strawberry, raspberry, nutmeg, and rich potpourri. On the palate, warm winter baking spices, clove, orange rind, and deep, seductive red fruits. Long finish, integrated oak with vanilla and caramel undertones. Medium + tannins. A testament to the V8 caliber Pinot Noir coming out of this amazing region. And yes I was born and raised here! — 9 years ago
Hints of Brett and barnyard funk upfront. Tomato bisque , V8 , lots of earth, dust, and white pepper. Beautiful color. Nice easy drinking and classic Loire valley Cab for the price. 14.2% — 3 years ago
A new find we grabbed at Clos Mogador in Priorat created by Sara Perez and Rene Barbier Jr. with another six friends, making it the "vineyard of the 8" & we visited this small plot 😍 Will benefit from 5-10 years ageing 😉 Very nicely made & balanced just young 👍

Very cool to try this vintage. The color has gone to a very rusty red amber and almost a brown rim. (bummer you can’t upload more than one photo) Olive and earth on the nose. Very savory V8 notes of tomato, tomato bisque , black pepper. The palate still has great acidity, very rounded, just a nice lingering finish and almost feels high in heat even though this sits at 12.5% — 3 years ago
This wine has me trippin. Someone on here mentioned motor oil on pavement—check! And pencil lead. And bitter herbs. And some dried fruit. And lavender. And the the taste of someone starting a V8 engine. And it’s chewy. And dry. And it hits you big but finishes long and elegant but rough around the edges (like I dunno, a Vivienne Westwood or Rick Owens leather jacket). And most importantly, it all weirdly works beautifully. Love it — 4 years ago
Very different than previous bottles. I think this is my favorite. Initially, V8 like, the Syrah, then a cab. A wild ride. Very enjoyable. — 9 years ago

After introducing itself by punching you in the nose, it follows up with a Liverpool kiss. This wine is huge, and needed 48 hours to properly mellow. It packs a punch with alc/vol exceeding 9%, and was almost undrinkable on night one. By night 3 the sheer violence it threatened had softened from a ferocious roar, to the low level grumble of a big V8 engine. Give this one time and space and the rewards are well worth it — 2 months ago
