Bright purple. Clearly more uptoned than the Quinta do Vallado Superior I had alongside. This is nicely balanced midweight young Douro. Raspberries, granberries red currants and cherry, some strawberry maybe on the background. This jumps nicely out of the glass and nose is far more expressive at this stage.
