Sublime Vermouth, sweet but not cloying, with rich dark caramel notes, for “hora del vermut” at La Rosa Vermuteria, Palma de Mallorca — 2 years ago
Wow. So luscious and caramel, but complex, herbal, mineral and drying. What an amazing vermut & soda this makes.
@Delectable Wine this is the Valdespino Vermouth, thanks. — 4 years ago

i had this vermouth with sesame balls. i added seltzer as i drank more. it was light, herbaceous, notes of chamomile and a splash of lemon. the lemon became more present as the seltzer was added. — 2 years ago
Rich, slightly sweet, cherry and orange — 4 years ago
How do you rate this? I was in Bilbao and San Sebastián and nothing came close to this ideal of Vermouth. The La Bota rides the curve of sweet and bitter wonderfully, never cloying.
The nose is Amontillado wood, cloves, cinnamon, unidentifiable herbs and vegetation. The palate echoes and with a bit of ice, slides down effortlessly. Luscious mouthfeel. 17°. A peel or slice of orange would be nice, but gilding the Spanish Lily. — a year ago

Semi-dry Mallorcan vermouth, at Flanigan restaurant, Puerto Portals, Mallorca, Spain — 2 years ago
Wine of the week for me. Full, integrated, with good fruit balance on the palate. Artwork on the label by Miró turns into a masterpiece on the table. Limited production to under 500 cases on select vintages. Vineyard is a stone throw from vs in rdd. So many good things to mention. Cheers. — 3 years ago
