Needs to breath, then very good — 6 months ago
Always like Altesino wines. Obviously no Poggio di Sotto or Stella de Campalto but this is still very delicious. Continue to love the Italian 2016s! Great fruit, well balanced acid, nice lifting finish. Good pairing with pork chops with a porchetta style seasoning. — 2 years ago
Earthy, rich and tannic. Soundtrack for this wine is Cake’s “The Distance” — 2 months ago
ahhh, what a fucking joy!!! vibrant, fresh, fun and just enough complexity to keep you engaged. very lovely stemmy herbal things happening but the main focus here is just ripe crunchy red fruit. mark my words—this will be a cerasuolo summer. — 5 months ago
Quite nice. A good value when I bought it and even better now as it’s going for $19. From the owners of Poggio di Sotto which we had the good fortune to taste at recently. Quite complete. Tannins at this point are still pretty forbidding, but at this price a good one to stock away for the future. — 2 years ago
Robust dark berries meet a little acid and fresh red berries. — 3 months ago

Drank at Sotto, very good full bodied wine — 2 years ago
Très aromatique notes de fruits noirs, florales, belle rondeur mais une texture légère, belle fraîcheur. Super équilibre entre notes intenses finesse en bouche. — 4 years ago

Very nice. First bottle pulled of a half case we got when visiting the property 2.5 years ago. Def could take a good bit more time. The tannins seemed to flesh out with air. But still so refined with great balanced of deep earth, minerally fruit, excellent acid. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves. — 2 months ago
