It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.

Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.

Fruity nose of black fruits with cedar, licorice, metals, light earth, herbs, spices, tobacco leaf and dark coffee.

Full-bodied and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, vanilla, cedar, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, peppercorn, herbs and light black tea.

Long finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Fruit forward and somewhat subdued. Feels like a Left Bank Bordeaux.

This Single Vineyard Cabernet will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Wine Enthusiasts 95 points. Robert Parker 93 points.

Elegant and good by itself or with food.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in (70% new) French oak barrels for 20 months.

Color of inky bubbly purple, with some ruby note. Nose of some oak, fresh grapes, spice, a bit cherry, quite average. Taste of raisin, fermented cabbage, oak, grape skins, a bit zest, and almost nonexistent tannins.
