Very earth and mineral driven with some decent fruit and baking spice. Great with food. — a month ago

Spiced baked apple and a rich palate, but with enough freshness to balance. — 5 years ago
Magnificent Blend of Pinot Noir (dominant) and Gamay. Unfiltered Loire wine "Nature". Very lively nose and mouth, with volume, freshness, juicy fresh fruit (the non-addition of sulfur is felt a lot on this point). Aging brings complex aromas of spices, and discreetly woody. Delicious texture and finish. — 6 years ago
Wow! Explosion of fragrance from the glass. Light red fruit, flowers, touch of earth and forest. Evolving. Palate is so good. Cherries, baking spice, red apple, some earth, lingering acidity and tannin. Not at all what I’d think of as Sonoma Pinot. This is outstanding and will be awesome in a few years. — 2 months ago
Chardonnay

This is upper level Beaujolais. Depth and texture in spades. Nose has perfectly ripe dark cherries and berries. Spice and crushed granite in the background, and a fresh-baked bread-like note. Deeply flavored (as one might expect from 50-yr old vines), with deep fruit, acids, and stony minerality all working together. Some very fine-grained tannin provides a little chalky feel in the finish. This will last and improve a few more years but is terrific now. — 3 years ago

This is van der kamp chard. The nose is bonkers, stone fruit, jasmine (may be influenced by blooming jasmine in SB now), lemon, more stone fruit. It’s so much. Palate is just lovely. Coats entire mouth with flowers, vanilla, apricots, lemons, tangerine, tart nectarine, some sea salt. Let it open for about 3 hours. It’s one of the best chardonnays I’ve had. Long lingering finish. At like the minute mark it almost gets sweet lemon hard candy in the mouth. Begging for another sip. — 12 days ago
