The only one on a good horizontal lineup that I wouldn’t pick blind , but good. Leaning into Chablis territory with leesy creaminess and maybe some oak, but still has a pleasant rounded herbal nose (artichoke, succulents) and comes together in a pleasantly balanced, rounded tone — 7 months ago
From Calvert Woolsey $30 for 2019 on 7/17/2022. Cammomille, flowers. Exactly what Riesling should be. — 3 years ago
If every supermarket had this on shelf for 9€, the world would be a happy place ;)
Floral with green apples, underripe apricots, white pepper. Very GrüVe.
On the palate racy, juicy, zingy, fresh.
Light yet with enough substance plus good purity and a peppery, salty twist towards the finish. Plus for the brilliant vintage.
Delightful. — 4 years ago
Rips yet lean. Excellent — 4 months ago
So beautiful. Packed herbal notes lie under a nutty front. On the palate the magic happens: it explodes with mineralityy in waves, electric acidity (yes, acidity, in grüner), lemon zest and oil, tingling for 30+ seconds — 7 months ago
11 year’s young, at its drinking peak, boy what a wine, still great acidity, freshness and fruit. — 7 months ago
