This is Sequoia Groves entry level Napa Cab, but it punches well above its price point. At 5 years old it was a Lucious, fruit forward cab that paired well with a variety of food, especially red meat. Nice nose, It Also enhances the flavor of chocolate. Very approachable wine. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Nose: white flowers. Grapefruit flowers. Intense. Finely ground minerals. So floral and elegant. Lemon flower.

Palate : elegant sweet pink grapefruit. So delicious. Balancing bitterness. Lovely. Perfect acidic balance.
