i’ll drink this wine for the rest of my life. it’s 100% my style, a great mix of subdued, textured red fruits, herbs de provence, a rocky chalky thing, some mint, some olive, dried flower petals. just a lovely bottle. would recommend it to anyone who loves old world style wine — 4 years ago
On the nose, tart raspberry jam, black pepper, wet paint, cut grass, and very slight rose petals. Mouth watering acidity with a medium/short finish, medium tannins, slight pepper notes on the palate as well. Second time having the 2019, even after an hour and a half it still feels very tight. I’m going to hold this for a few more years and see how it progresses. — 4 years ago
Nose has strawberry, peach, watermelon rind, orange zest and crushed rocks.
Palate has dried strawberry, Clementine orange, fresh tart cherry, sharp acidity with a medium finish. The acidity level is really great, refreshing!
We're relaxing outside after our second vaccination shots earlier today; a beautiful and sunny afternoon in the Berkshires. We're feeling great and looking forward to rejoining with our wine crew soon! — 4 years ago
Wonderful Petite Syrah based wine. BIG and powerful but elegant at the same time! Ripe blue/black fruit aromas and flavors. Nose has touches of lilac and chocolate. Hints of vanilla, milk chocolate and toasty oak come through on the long finish. Deep Maroon/Purple color. Underrated varietal and love the fact that the Caymus Team refers to the grape this wine was made from under its traditional name of Duriff. — 4 years ago
Had to try one of these. Obviously young and will need another 5-10 years to hit its stride. But drinking very enjoyably now. Perfectly ripe red fruit with hints of blue and black. Tannins and acidity still strong. Best to aerate for a couple hours. But wow what a long finish. — 4 years ago

Still enjoy this bottle!! Crisp, slight oak, butter, smooth, medium tannins, medium acidity, just overall good. — 4 years ago
