First sip after opening was incredibly watery and light.

Took about 3 hours to open up and show. And then it was exactly as expected with great depth and fruit. Solid backbone and balance.

Wow what an amazing buy. Complex nose, classic but complex. Right bank stunner. Cedar, truffle, cassis, olive tapenade , slate, salt, with even an iron complement. Quite structured with amazing tannins still rounding out the fruit. Dark berries, blueberries , ripe blackberries, great tannins to give this wine the structure it needs to keep on aging. Lots of herbaceous aromas... bell pepper and jalapeños. Ripe strawberries and peppers on the palate with the same light body with added effervescence, tart acidity and lingering minerals.
