It’s a walk in the woods with a bowl of cherries. The nose presents with woods and earth. The palate brings forward subtle fruit notes. This is a complex beauty that paired perfectly with my rustic herb grilled whole chicken. While I’m generally not a huge fan of Syrah, this wine is wonderful. — 4 years ago
Have to work today, but Plumpy attenuates the pain. A clean, mineral-driven chard, which will sail on in the cellar for some time. Prior notes apply. — 4 years ago
We’ve had their N/V Blanc but, haven’t had their Rose in awhile. Quite good.
Mousse is very refined. Great mouthfeel. Blood orange, tangerine, rhubarb notes, poached strawberries, black cherries, watermelon near the rind, white spice, oyster shell, grainy chalk, grey volcanics, saline, dry yeast, baguette crust, mint with pink roses dominate with shades of red roses. The acidity is lively. The finish is, pleasantly rich, elegant, well balanced & polished persistent for minutes falling into minerals & spice. — 4 years ago
Catching up on some camping weekend drinking posts. Lovely but young Barolo from a classic producer. A bit on the lighter bodied side for my taste but so drinkable - cherry and tobacco on the palate that is just perfect with grilled meats. Will let some of my bottles settle down longer but this is a nice wine to drink now. — 4 years ago

My first Etna Rosso. Intensely stony tannins and a noticeably mineral-driven weight. Boozy wild strawberry and dark cherry fruit open up and lighten with some air. Hard edges, but was a treat with the ol’ Long Island sausages and peppers. — 4 years ago
