Lemon dough, green grape, lemon zest, gesso, marble chippings, smoky white mulberries, pink orchid, carnation and cherry blossom bouquet shows chive and crisp green pea, but also lemongrass. Big and juicy lemon, lime zest, green pear skin, white pepper, chive, lime pith, lime juice, green apple, and beet greens. Crisp, refreshing, refined.

2007 Lime, lime pith and lemon peel hold strong despite age. Lemon madeleines, orange oil, tangerine pith, lemongrass, evergreen. Orange peel, lemon oil and lemongrass forefront, while lime neutralizes to background color green olive swims in the lime, chamomile, kefir lime, grape leaf, crystalline salinity. Bright and ripe after 15 years!

Lemon smoke, pith and zested peel, green beans, wax bean, lime, pestelled chive, chunky seltzer. Speedy and clean palate shows lime and lemon citrus, underripe green pear, lime pith, chalky pink grapefruit, salinity, orchid stem. Great wine with plunging depth, spritely while well defined and deftly crafted. A joy.

And now for a golden oldie! Borders on baked golden apple, poire William notes, green apple slices, and even green apple hard candy. Green pear in a pineapple wash, orange bread, pear tart, dinner roll with orange marmalade. Half-dried lemon juices spiral down pile of acid and minerality. Shows it’s age in all other ways, but acid remains unbroken. Baked crab apple, radish fringe, baked grapefruit but just browned, sour mandarins, lemon and lime piths pull it back to its sinew. Really amazing wine. Endless citrus finish.
