Camins del Priorat Grenache Blend

Good everyday wine. Sour cherry fruit notes dominate the start, but then some nice acidity and balanced violet and a hint of leather. Fresh and approachable now. Pairs nicely with it’s a variety of foods and I like the value.

Concentrated yet lively dark berry and candied violet flavors are braced by a core of minerality that lends sharp delineation and lift. Drink it now with a bit of aeration. Alvaro Palacios’ Priorats are some of Spain’s greatest wines. His entry-level bottling consistently over-delivers. $25.00 (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, March 2019)

Black fruit. Tight tannins but opens up.

A true priorat through and through. Lush and smooth and down to party or dress up for a nice dinner

Purchased 2017 in Barcelona Jan 2019. Drank 12/22/19. Excellent floral bouquet with violets roses lilac chocolate basalt. Well integrated palate with good tannin

Lush black berries. Lovely with steak, chicken or Italian (pesto)

Very nice blend, full bodied and good sutle fruit.

Lovely #priorat - plush bramble fruit nose backed by vanilla, fruit-forward character with less acidity, soft spice and a nice trailing finish. Paired beautifully with duck confit with cherry sauce at a nice tapas restaurant.
