Nice little Nebbiolo varietal from Barolo region -‘smoky, ripe fruit, with a little vanilla -a really fresh wine and tannins at the end with long, warming finish - elegant with a powerful sense of purpose yet balanced with a touch of finesse-❤️️to 😀 while drinking good 🍷

Open for 8 hours... crimson with a slight copper rim. Elegant, cherry liquor, raspberry, herbal, and mushroom notes on the nose. Feminine style more than powerful, but chewy tannin backbone persists. Rich red fruit transition to chalky notes, then milk chocolate on the finish. Blended grapes from four crus in the La Morra area of Barolo. Not too young now. Better in 3-5 more years with cellaring.

This was not remarkable for a Barolo, but a nice value. Don't think it will benefit much from more time. The other 3 in the cellar probably won't last too long... #PIZZANIGHT
