Worst wine I've had in a while, black cherry heavy, unbalanced...

Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon. It's here...I'm here...may as well drink it, right? I guess so, sigh. Vegetables and old-people medicine on the aroma. And doesn't that sound appealing? You'll get some cherries, metal, and bad earth on the palate. A rather interesting combination. Not a good one, just an interesting one. In lieu of a nice finish, you'll just get a lingering aftertaste. Too thin for me, overall.
Don't be swayed by the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) name. This is no Grand Bordeaux by any means.

The terroir of Chile can be a little alienating. So much bell pepper. But I find the flavor pretty interesting and definitely unique.

Medium ruby hue. Aromas of bell pepper, black cherry, blackcurrant, and chocolate, with more dark fruit, oak, and pepper on the palate. Medium body, with medium-plus acidity and medium tannins.
