Blend of 85% Garganega & 15% Trebbiano di Soave, from the heart of Soave, the Winery of Leonildo and Teresita Pieropan dates back to 1860. Pale lemon with green edges and aromas of fresh stone fruits, floral blossoms and herb spice. On the palate apple and pineapple with lemon citrus juice notes. Well balanced with vivid acidity carrying through to a pleasing finish. Tasting a Sample.

I know of no better value in Italian white for under 10 euros. Almost as important, it’s available in half bottles!

So consistent - found this on closeout for $6.99 if you can believe it! Gold-ish, gorgeous darkened by age but nose was fresh w/ripe yellow orchard fruit, minerals & stones, bit of citrus. Smooth a bit fattened up on palate, angular firm acidic backbone w/flavors confirmed from nose. Just delicious
