What a great wine that fooled many blind tasters towards Burgundy (Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet). Medium bodied with taut acidity, precise fruit concentration, and stellar oak integration. Not at all clunky and drinking well.

From Westside Farms and Rochioli Allen Vineyard sites, medium lemon color, aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and nutty notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apricot and pears with honeysuckle, smooth with a nutty creamy texture, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit toasty notes and savory citrus mineral character. Nice!

The nose is lemon curd, butterscotch, and fresh cut grass. Bright acidity up front with some buttery richness through the mid-palate and a hint of vanilla on the finish. All around a very well balanced wine.
