Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

I can’t remember the last time I tasted this brand, and while it’s very approachable, it’s a total construction site. Vanilla and over-sweet brown sugar with resolved tannins. Not my cup-of-tea, but will be enjoyed by others.

Tasting Silver Oak at the winery in Alexander Valley. What a treat. The 19 is elegant and nicely balanced. Subtle tannins.

Wine is ruby red. On nose its Figs, blackberries, oak, vanilla, pine woods. On palate, Blackcurrants, black cherries, licorice, its medium+ acidity, medium intensity with fruitiness, tannic ending and long finish. Its a good wine and drinkable now.

A really nice fruit forward cab that I had with a New York strip steak. Really good combination.

Deep ruby color. Aromas of cherry, blackberry, black currant and clove. Solid wine, flavors of black fruit, black currant with warm baking spices on the end.

Great Fuller bodied, coats the mouth, cherry and plum, fruit forward not very tannic, smooth

Really good! New Years Eve dinner wine. Delicious!!!

Medium+ bodied. Good structure. Flows / drinks well .
