House style is ripe, fruity. This is drinking perfect. Personal rating on this one because I much prefer a drier, higher acid port of any type.

Mixed emotions on this. Bought on release. It’s at the very young side of drinkable-opaque ruby color almost translucent but very dark. Primary fruit and hints of coffee/chocolate. Alcohol a bit out of sync. It seemed to integrate after 8 hours but the leftovers at 24 hours were still a bit hot. Double decanted and filtered for sediment and a busted cork.

Still sooooo lovely. Smells of musk and mushrooms and prunes. Tastes like a mouthful of sweet sun raisined fruit, little medicinal, with back wafts of green veggies. Lots of acidity that's lifts the fruit without being cloying.

Opened in FLA with family on Thanksgiving 2023. Decent after almost 30 years. Tastes young. Probably better in another 10 years.

This was decadent and superlative port, ready to drink and oh soooo good.

Pale garnet color with no brick at all. Raisins and alcohol in the nose with hints of spice leather and grape jam. Jammy fruit on the palate. Delicious and glad@to have another in the cellar!

The cork did not look promising. In fact it looked downright depressing as it disintegrated into dry pulp on its torturous journey from the bottle. And yet, somehow the port was in pretty good condition.

Sweet cherries, chocolate and coffee. Beautiful.
