Drinking a 3L from 2013 in late ‘24. Love the big format bottles and aging potential. This could go a lot longer I think but is also fine to drink now.
Standard Caymus flavors and aromas that made the brand known. Dark inky crimson color. Blueberries and blackberry fruit mixed with vanilla alongside the tell-tale signs of wet band-aid. Great tannins, medium-to-big acidity, good long finish. Really nice. — 2 months ago
Opened this one 24hrs ago, yet it still comes across as primary and youthful. Big wine, full bodied, baked fruit cobbler, vanilla, baking spices, ink, licorice, black pepper. Beautiful and balanced, also due to a judicious dosage of fine acidity. Long, uplifting finish with wonderful tannines - dusty and ripe.

Blend 95% Cabernet Sauv, 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 2% Merlot, splash Petit Verdot, blended before being aged 24 months in American Oak, 50/50 new and second used. Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits, spice and hints of sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and currants with licorice, cacao, vanilla and savory herbs. Fine tight tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and savory mineral character. Nice! — 20 days ago

2021 vintage. The best, sub $20 resto cost Napa/Sonoma Zin I've had in ages. May hafta pick up a few cases. Excellent balance and concentration throughout. Gives me hope for CA Zinfandel that I've not had in nearly two decades. That's a whole lotta Zin under the bridge. 0 — 24 days ago
