Vintage 2022 | This is the basic Pinot noir of the cooperation Mayschoss Altenahr in the Ahr, the oldest in the world. Ridiculous price and só lovely, bottled raspberries and elegance. Topwine on a Monday evening after a hard days work. Paired with Cantonese beef with mango, a dish we have been making for 30 years and still makes us ultra happy… — 6 months ago
Vintage 2019 | Tasted blind | This sucks. I tasted this wine twice last six months. It is my cellar. Did not recognize it. It is too young. It suffered from the wine that we tasted next to it, a beautiful pinot noir from North Italy. Light colour. Licorice and caramel. Little sweet touch in the mouth, nice bitters, still strict because of the tannins. Will become a beauty within 3 - 5 years. — 2 months ago
So earthy! I smell red cherry tree sap or bark, candy cap mushroom.
Surprisingly austere and tannic fine tannins light in the mouth, but it's also comforting in a similar way that good scotch is comforting after it goes down. — 7 months ago
