Happy Twelve Days After My Birthday to me. I rarely see but always cherish wines from Henri Boillot. This Bourgogne outclasses the majority of village whites. Tastes and smells like a top quality Meursault to me, though I understand other villages contribute to the blend. Hazelnut, oatmeal, a little lemon oil, gorgeous fruit. Crisp in the mouth, with excellent buoyant acids and nice persistence. Yum. My rating might be a little generous because I’m happy to be drinking this! — 9 days ago

Deep ruby with purple hue in glass and rich berry fruits on nose, well integrated tannins and with 14.5% ABV was remarkably balanced with good acidity.

Enjoyed the 2020 a bit more. Solid wine but sweeter (just a touch so) than expected. Needs a bit more zip. The 2020 being a bit better makes me wonder if I should have kept the 2022 a little longer before opening — 3 months ago

We had the 2010 Vintage on 6/15-16/25. A real nice Burgundy from Beaune. Strawberry, raspberry, clove, leather and and earthiness on the bouquet and palate. Light to medium bodied. Tannins all softened. Old World — 5 months ago
