Barleywine Irish Whiskey

Just read an article saying the “neck pour” issue is BS. Well I still believe in it. This got better in the glass but I’m betting even better next tasting. It’s light in color and in the finish. This is an easy drinker. Not sure the proof but it’s not over the top. I’m assuming 80ish or at least that’s how it comes across. — 2 months ago

The tequila cask comes across lightly. Assuming blanco.

I don't need an 'O', already have that one 🤷🏻‍♂️. The hunt is difficult, I presently have L, O & N.

Single Malt Irish Whiskey

This is really a Scotch that just happens to be made in Ireland, not so much an Irish whisky. Having said that, it’s a good version of a single malt scotch! Not great, but I think it would be a wonderful introduction to the style. Malty, fruity with just a hint of sweetness - it goes down easy. I drank this way too quickly. Would definitely recommend for a novice scotch drinker. — 8 months ago

Shake Ridge Ranch Amador County Barbera

Made only a couple times (so far), the Shake Ridge Barbera (‘21) from Bedrock is a really fun wine. It’s loaded with berries, plum and underbrushy flavors and finishes with a zing that make it a red-sauce’s dream date. Let’s hope future vintages allow for more of these. — 9 months ago
