Almost opaque, light brickish scarlet. Smokey, dried savory cherry notes…. Gorgeous balance between acid and fruit. Hard to keep from crushing the entire glass. The 2023 is a blend of 40% Barbera, 40% Dolcetto, 14% Montepulciano, 6% Sangiovese. @Delectable Wine not a pure Sangiovese. Still a delicious pizza wine, or in my case, Monday night pasta wine.
