I think it’s Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Kind of a Super Marche wine. Get some mint on the nose. In the mouth it’s round and lush. Tannins in balance with the dark fruit. Very nice. And I’m not a Super Tuscan fan. — 10 months ago

Fully mature. Fine, integrated tannins. Beautiful pure fruit profile with some acid, and tannin to give structure. Lots of tertiary - leather, forest floor, earth, umami, tobacco. Grip. Long. Right in the sweet spot. — 8 months ago

At 17 years this wine is still deep, vibrant ruby in color with powerful aromas of black cherry, black olive, earth, leather and forest floor. Showing youth as well as age it is full and meaty and yet still agile on the palate. Velvet tannins give it a rich texture but there is no heaviness here. Stunning wine with a very long finish. — 4 months ago
