Honestly thought this was a Champagne in our blind. Turned out to be a German Pinot Blanc Sekt. Wow! Aromas of citrus, brioche, almond, chalk, some lingering herbs. Very pure on the palate, with wicked acidity and chalky minerality. Drinks like a charm, plus it helps that Bastian’s such a great bloke. Also noted that BR and FK did think that more time on lees would have improved the depth and textural quality of the wine. — 2 years ago

A great luxemburg pinot noir. Drink chilled. Flowers, little oak and full of smooth joy — 4 years ago
Yeah this is going places. I’ll never forget this bottle. 1. It’s from Luxembourg which is cool. And I’m drinking it in Luxembourg!!! Also cool. 2. It’s friggin great.
Mild and subtle with creamy texture and just the right kick of acid. It delivers some soft peaches and ripened pear. Green apple to compliment and contrast. Like a warm dessert pie. — 9 years ago
