Forgot this wine, no indication of vintage except on the cork! A flashy earthy dark fruited presentation straight out of some wilderness, firm almost woodsy palate and good finish. Not at all what I would have thought of as Gamay. Looked like it didn’t present well several years ago. Age difference? — a month ago

Very good although quite tannic. I am going to wait 4-5 years to open my remaining bottles. Well balanced. Good fruit but also leathery, some tobacco and cedar. Great QPR! Not a big wine but would definitely stand up to grilled meats, full flavored hard cheeses, crusty breads and grilled vegetables. Actually quite elegant. — 7 months ago
